Soaring to new entrepreneurial heights, Elliott Harper approached us seeking a unique brand identity to complement brand new events upstart Look Alive. Founded with the aim to deliver intimate clubbing experiences to Sydney and beyond, crafting a standout brand experience that affected show-goers at a personal level was of essence.
With aims to cement a place in Sydney’s electronic music scene, Look Alive was to debut in May of 2019 with a 1000-head bass oriented experience at the revered Manning Bar in UTS. The challenge was clear: build the ultimate platform to showcase exciting visuals that turned heads without forgoing clarity in messaging.
Clean modular design for 2019 and forwards was our immediate priority for the website end of service. Needing to quickly provide updates on events synchronised to multiple platforms, we took advantage of live social media integration in addition to highly modular web design allowing for seamless updates and announcements for the debut Manning Bar show and all future events going forward.
With the foundation laid, we turned to building a streamlined series of print and digital assets to promote and drive engagement for the Manning Bar Show. Taking inspiration from contemporary design motifs observed in the music industry and street-wear advertising, we built a bold campaign with emphasis on eye imagery to capture the essence of Look Alive’s “keep your eyes open” tagline.
Through careful considerations we were able to deliver a campaign that closely aligned and appealed to our market. With the success of its debut, Look Alive continues to build from strength to strength, with a keenly engaged audience in tow.
